Larson Systems Divisions

Larson Systems Inc. is an engineering-driven company that started in a Minnesota garage in 1979 and incorporated in 1981. In the ensuing 45 years, our campus has undergone remarkable expansion, now spanning over 34,000 square feet and employing a team of over 50 individuals.

LSI has designed, manufactured, and distributed top-of-the-line manual and automatic force / length, torsion and torque measuring systems around the world. Our products range from manually operated benchtop units to freestanding motorized testers and fully automated quality testing solutions for production environments. Our testers are in use in the automotive, aerospace, medical and many other industries around the world. With two patents (U.S. Patent Numbers 6,094,980 & 6,289,744) on the Torsion Spring Tester (TST) line, and many other ground-breaking designs on other products, LSI has clearly established the standard for others to follow!

Our calibration laboratory was awarded ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) for in-house and on-site calibrations. Achieving ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation shows our commitment to providing the highest quality calibration service, both in our own factory and on-site at your business. Larson Systems Inc.’s customers can have the utmost confidence in the precision and accuracy of every instrument we calibrate, whether it’s one of our own innovative spring testers or another force / length, force or torque measurement instrument.

After becoming a world leader in precision manufactured spring testing and gaging equipment, Larson Systems Inc. turned to another venture. Using the same attention to quality, durability, affordability, and detail invested into our industrial testing equipment, Larson Systems Inc. dba Stone Mountain Pet Products, began producing commercial grade, attractive, and easy-to-use pet products!

The president of LSI, David Larson, is highly involved in the design process of all our products across both product lines, spring testing equipment and pet products. We continue to improve and update our product lines to help our customers overcome any quality testing and manufacturing challenges, as well as pet housing and dog daycare needs.

In recent years, Mr. Larson has focused on another industry niche: using the company’s decades of manufacturing and machining experience to fill a need producing top-quality firearm parts.

Now with 3 Main Divisions: Spring Testers, Firearms & Components, Stone Mountain Pet Products, Larson Systems Inc. looks forward to product scope expansion to help our customers meet their needs.
