LSI’s UT 24 Testers are automated extension and compression force and length testing systems. With their numerous load range capacities and load cell interchangeability (six max), these testers will test a wide variety of springs or other test material.

Flexibility is the key to the UT testing system. The UT 24 has incredible flexibility, allowing the operator to test a variety of test points and test configurations. From a simple one point F@L test to a complex 99 point test, these testers will get the job done. The UT 24 model is very well suited for compression springs and long extension springs, up to 22″.

Test the endurance of your part, and keep track of it’s performance throughout the test. With capability of up to 10 million test cycles, you can put your part in and forget about it! And if the part falls below spec, the test automatically stops.

Test up to 8 springs or other parts at a time with Larson’s Fatigue Plate Assembly. Special knobs keep parts in place during testing; choose diameters between 3/4″, 1/2″, and 1/4″.

  • Up to 10 million cycles
  • Abort test on bad condition
  • Performance test at beginning, during, and after fatigue test as desired
  • 10 million cycle option included with Fatigue Assembly or Pro Ultimate Software Package, or as a separate feature.
How do you use the Fatigue Testing Option?
Typical test:
The part must be cycle tested 90,000 cycles from 2.2 to 1.8″. Performance at the end of the cycle test must maintain load ratings.

Air Vibration Damping Feet (Set of 4)

Fatigue Plate Assembly

Air vibration damping feet make possible very accurate force measurements in normal industrial environments that have floor or building transmitted vibrations. These vibrations may be induced by industrial equipment, local vehicle or rail traffic, and, in some cases, people walking by. The feet attenuates the magnitude of the vibration by 10 to 100 times, making possible accurate force measurements at very light load levels in environments that make testing impossible. The feet should be considered for applications with forces less than 10 lbs. and is highly recommended at less than 2 lbs.
